The event, running from 13:00 to 17:30, will feature a unique fusion of technology and fashion, made possible through collaborations with ViewSonic and designers Naya Rea, Ray Chu, PROJECTbyH., and AutoNarrative by Eve Lin. Attendees can expect an immersive experience that merges cutting-edge 3D technology with creative fashion design.
Portal’s exhibition promises to redefine digital fashion by integrating advanced technology into fashion presentations. According to a recent YouGov poll, 65% of British consumers now shop for clothing primarily online, highlighting a growing trend in digital fashion. Eurostat also noted that apparel was the most purchased item online in Europe last year. As online shopping continues to dominate, platforms like Portalare seizing the opportunity to innovate and transform digital fashion.
Alan Liu, Co-Founder of Portal, remarked: “Digital fashion is revolutionising the industry, offering designers and brands new creative avenues and delivering immersive, sustainable experiences for consumers. Younger generations, in particular, are driving this transformation, seeking personalised and engaging interactions. Our platform, along with the adoption of hyper-realistic 3D garments by Western fashion houses, signifies a shift from mere trends to a fundamental industry change. We’re thrilled to present how Portal can elevate brands through 3D innovation at London Fashion Week.”
Event highlights include a grocery-store-themed entrance leading to a darkened room where ViewSonic’s advanced displays and projectors will bring digitally generated art to life. This experience will feature:
