Bellway is extending a helping hand to homebuyers in Merseyside by offering a significant deposit contribution of up to £25,799.75 for those purchasing new properties. This exclusive incentive, which can provide buyers with up to five percent of the purchase price, will be available until Thursday, 31 October.

The offer applies to selected plots across several developments in Merseyside, including Lydiate Gate in Lydiate, Arrowe Brook Park in Wirral, Jellicoe Gardens in Moreton, St Wilfrid’s Place in Litherland, and Plummers Meadow and Halewood Oaks in Halewood. Additionally, Ashberry Homes, part of the Bellway Group, will also participate in this offer at Ashberry at Jellicoe in Moreton.

Jenny Bell, Sales Director for Bellway North West, highlighted the importance of this initiative, stating, “This is an incredible offer designed to help prospective homebuyers acquire their dream energy-efficient new-build home without having to save for years for a large deposit.”

By making a reservation on selected plots before the deadline, buyers can significantly enhance their deposit, which in turn can lower their monthly mortgage payments. “This can make a crucial difference and bring a new home within the budget for more people,” Bell added.

Bellway emphasised that their new homes are not only energy-efficient but can also lead to substantial savings on energy bills. On average, buyers could save around £2,207 a year compared to older properties of similar size. Furthermore, all new Bellway homes will come equipped with Google Nest thermostats as standard, a feature shown to reduce energy bills by up to 16 percent, according to testing by the tech giant.

Bell encouraged potential homebuyers to reach out to Bellway’s expert staff, who can provide details and guide them through the process of taking advantage of this deposit contribution offer. “This could see them achieving their goal of homeownership much sooner than they thought possible,” she said.

This initiative reflects Bellway’s commitment to making homeownership more accessible in the region, especially in light of rising living costs and the challenges many face in saving for a substantial deposit. With the current offer, the housebuilder aims to support Merseyside residents in realising their homeownership aspirations and improving their quality of life through modern, energy-efficient homes.
