Crosscall, the leading European manufacturer of rugged smartphones, has announced a new partnership with BT to introduce its range of durable and sustainable mobile devices to UK businesses. This new collaboration marks the first time Crosscall’s phones and tablets will be available to BT customers in the UK.

Starting 30th September, BT will offer Crosscall’s rugged smartphones, which are designed for durability and long-term use. Each device comes with a 5-year warranty, covering battery issues and more, and is built to be easily repairable to extend its lifespan. Crosscall also promises availability of spare parts for up to 10 years.

One of Crosscall’s latest innovations, the STELLAR-X5, incorporates 26% recycled materials. This focus on eco-design has earned Crosscall a Gold Medal from Ecovadis, positioning it in the top 5% of companies globally for CSR performance. This commitment aligns with BT’s own net-zero strategy.

The partnership aims to provide robust technology to businesses in challenging environments across various sectors. Crosscall has already supplied over 300,000 devices to major clients such as Leroy Merlin, SNCF, and the French National Police.

Sally Fuller from BT highlighted the unique opportunity for BT customers to access market-leading rugged devices with extended warranties. She noted that Crosscall’s sustainability credentials complement BT’s efforts to reduce carbon emissions.

Matthew Burchell of Crosscall expressed enthusiasm about meeting the needs of UK businesses and professionals with a focus on durability and sustainability. He aims to replicate the company’s success in Europe within the UK market.

Crosscall will showcase its innovative solutions at the Emergency Tech Show in Birmingham on 18 and 19 September.
