EDITED™ Launches Education Partner Program to Enhance Fashion Education
Global retail intelligence platform EDITED™ has unveiled its new Education Partner Program, designed to integrate its sophisticated tools into academic settings.
The initiative aims to provide students and educators with access to EDITED’s Retail Intelligence Platform, enhancing the learning experience and preparing students for careers in the rapidly evolving fashion industry.
The program will allow educational institutions to incorporate real-world data and analytics into their curriculums, giving students practical experience with the same tools used by industry professionals. Sheng Lu, Professor and Director of Graduate Studies in Fashion and Apparel Studies at the University of Delaware, one of EDITED’s partner institutions, praised the programme.
“As the fashion industry becomes increasingly data-intensive, it is crucial to enhance our fashion students’ data analysis and quantitative reasoning skills,” Lu said. “Thanks to the partnership with EDITED, we have integrated this powerful business analytics tool into our fashion merchandising classes, completely transforming students’ learning experiences. Students can explore real-world data and apply classroom knowledge to practical problems, gaining valuable insights into evolving business strategies and industry trends.”
Shellie Vornhagen, Chief Marketing Officer at EDITED, highlighted the benefits of the partnership. “At EDITED, we are committed to supporting the next generation of retailers. Our Education Partner Program provides students with access to the same industry tools used by major retailers and brands. We hope this initiative will equip students with the skills and knowledge needed for successful careers in retail and fashion.”
Educational institutions interested in joining the program can find more information on EDITED’s website. Retail professionals seeking to utilise EDITED’s platform for better decision-making in areas such as assortment, pricing, inventory, or site merchandising are encouraged to schedule a meeting with an expert.
The launch of the Education Partner Program reflects EDITED’s commitment to fostering practical, data-driven learning experiences and preparing students for future success in the competitive fashion industry.
