The current review of charity law being carried out by the Law Commission will consider the grounds on which the Charity Commission can suspend, remove or disqualify trustees. This was reported shortly after Sam Younger, chief executive of the Commission, said that it should be given a general power to disqualify individuals from becoming trustees.
