Sector think tank New Philanthropy Capital has brought together key findings from an 18-month programme of research into the role of faith-based charities.

The report outlines what makes faith-based charities unique, the contribution they make to the wider charity sector, and the challenges and opportunities they face. Short survey for NI faith based organisations

Northern Ireland’s sector umbrella body NICVA is currently delivering infrastructure support for faith based organisations on behalf of the Department for Communities. As part of this work, they have produced a short survey for faith based organisations to complete, in order to understand the needs of these organisations and the work that they do with the wider community in Northern Ireland.

Report from faith social action conference

Third Sector Research Centre has published a report of the ‘Faith in Social Action: Where Next?‘ conference held at the University of Westminster in May 2016. The event fed back findings from the Centre’s Faith in Social Action research and explored the future role of faith and inter-faith work in austere times.

Mapping faith based voluntary organisations in N Ireland

A database of all religious and community faith based organisations in Northern Ireland is being developed by voluntary sector body NICVA and Rural Community Network, to get a grip on the size, scope and work of the sector.
