A number of changes to intellectual property law came into effect on 1st October. These include a new exception to copyright for parody, caricature, pastiche, and improvements to rules on how you can use quotations.

New from the government’s Intellectual Property Office, ‘Copyright Notice: digital images, photographs and the internet’ is aimed at small businesses and individuals who may wish to use digital or photographic images on the web, or find their own images being used online.
