Account request

Before registering as a site user, please check whether there are better choices.

  • There’s no need to request a VoluntaryNews user account to submit News items direct, which feeds directly into the publishing system.
  • A user account may be helpful to those wanting to make more frequent contributions. Organisations putting on more than the occasional event are encouraged to set up an account as this will greatly improve the process to add items.

To create an account, please use the form below to indicate what type of content you wish to add, with a clear indication of your organisation and/or interest in the voluntary sector. (Our direct sign-up is off for now as spam levels got too high.)

You can also use the contact form if you want to ask for changes in an existing user account (e.g. if you want to take over from someone who has left).

Requests are usually approved within an hour or two but can take up to a couple of days if we are otherwise engaged. Give us a nudge if we are too slow.

Note: All fields (name, email and message) must have valid entries for this contact form to work. As it is available to all, the system has a tool to catch spam. If it isn’t sure, you may see a ‘captcha’ test.
