A leading UK manufacturer of shop equipment and retail display products has launched a discount group exclusively for charity shops. Wrights Plastics GPX promises permanent discounts on a wide range of products. Membership is free for organisations and individuals.
Wrights Plastics work with High Street brands such as Marks & Spencer, Selfridges and Arcadia Group creating bespoke retail displays. Their gpx group brand sells off-the-shelf retail display, Point of Sale and Point Of Purchase products. They manufacture 90% of the range at their 42,000 sq foot production unit in West Bromwich. The group employs around 140 staff.
The company supplies a number of charity shops already and believes the Charity Shop Discount Group will ensure customers achieve all-important ‘best value’, as MD Mike Wright explains “Every retailer wants to keep costs to a minimum but charity retailers have an even greater incentive to get best value. Members of the Discount Group will automatically receive 10% off our shop display range and they will also be able to access further offers and discounts. There are no fees, no requirement to order a minimum amount and no sales calls – simply an easy way to access a huge range of GB-made products at excellent prices.”
The family run firm was established in 1969 by Mike’s father with a commitment to UK manufacturing and jobs and that commitment is unchanged. Mike added “We want to ensure the UK keeps on making goods – and we have invested heavily in people and technology to maintain our competitiveness in a global market.”
Wrights Plastics is a Corporate Member of the Charity Retail Association.
