Senior management team changes at choral charity Sing for Pleasure

The Trustees of national choral charity Sing for Pleasure are delighted to announce a new management team structure.

Manvinder Rattan has agreed to accept the permanent voluntary role as the charity’s Chief Executive Officer, in addition to being Head of Conductor Training. He has been acting as interim Chief Executive Officer since 15 August 2015, following Catherine Beddison’s decision to take a sabbatical. Catherine will return to the newly-created role of Head of Strategy whilst Mark Jordan, the charity’s Financial Controller, becomes a permanent member of the senior management team. Ula Weber and Don Gillthorpe continue in post as Head of Events and Publications respectively.

Stephen Gregson, Chairman of Sing for Pleasure’s Board of Trustees, commented: “The Trustees are pleased to endorse the new management structure for Sing for Pleasure and believe that it will better enable the organisation to respond to current trends in the world of choral music. We are extremely grateful for the continued enthusiasm and dedication of the team who voluntarily give their services in the management of SfP in addition to their regular paid employment.”
