SORP accounting standards

On Charity Finance Group’s blog, a professional accountant weighs up the benefits and challenges for smaller charities that are deciding which SORP they should use, and provides some practical advice. See ‘Which SORP is right for you?‘.

In a LinkedIn post, well-known charity accountancy expert Pesh Framjee mentions a disclosure checklist for the Charities SORP (FRS102 version) that his firm has produced for clients and CFG. The linked checklist is in pdf, 1.6MB.

(The SORPs are accounting standards which must be referenced by registered charities, unless they are below the financial thresholds.)
