Key proposals on Fundraising Preference Service

The Fundraising Preference Service working group has published a paper setting out key proposals.

The document will be used to engage and structure discussions with key stakeholders over the following weeks, to ensure the final recommendations are properly informed by the views of charities of all sizes and other fundraising organisations.

Charities and others are invited to submit comments to the working group chair. NCVO news release or direct link to the discussion paper download (pdf, 299KB)

Questions over regulator start-up funding

The interim CEO of the new Fundraising Regulator has written to 50 large fundraising charities inviting them to contribute to funding the regulator’s start-up. Twenty eight had agreed to help with getting the new regulator set up by the time of Fundraising Live conference in February. Some others have been challenging the costs involved and asking further questions.
