Northern Ireland’s sector body NICVA has produced its policy manifesto for May’s Assembly elections.
Rooted in the voluntary sector’s experience, the document looks at key social, economic and environmental issues both now and in the near future.
Our manifesto isn’t an alternative budget or Programme for Government. It is a collection of ideas and recommendations. Some are interlinked and some stand alone, but all present politicians and their parties with positive solutions to a range of important challenges.
- Prevention and Early Intervention in Key Areas of Public Spending.
- Reducing Poverty and Making Work Pay.
- Good Government and a strong society.
More on the recommendations plus ‘Untapping the Potential – Policy Manifesto 2016’ download are available from the NICVA article, along with a costing appendix.
