Influencing local policy for (and by) those with multiple needs

The Making Every Adult Matter coalition has published two guides about influencing local policy, for organisations working with those who have lived experience of multiple need.

The first part of the guide gives details about the key stakeholders (across criminal justice, health and housing) whose decisions impact people with multiple needs and how to engage with them, whilst the second gives advice about how to involve people with lived experience in policy influencing work.

The two guides can be downloaded from MEAM publications page . Both in pdf – part one ‘Influencing local policy’ is 1.7MB, part two ‘Involving experts by experience’ 1.4MB. (Also available from  Clinks’ Multiple and complex needs page.)
