N Ireland budget

Northern Ireland’s voluntary sector body NICVA has recently met with senior finance officials to discuss the process of the 2016/17 budget.

The Northern Ireland Executive has agreed that, due to time pressures and the fact it is a one year budget, there will be no consultation on the 2016-17 budget. Instead, NICVA will be arranging Stakeholder Engagements with each of the Departments in the New Year so the sector can give their thoughts to the relevant officials.
