Sayer Vincent launches new advice service to help smaller charities

sayer vincent logoSayer Vincent, the leading UK charity accounting and auditing firm, has launched a new subscription service to give smaller charities access to high quality charity advice from leading finance experts.

The new service is ideal for smaller charities that do not need an audit. It will help them with a number of finance issues including compliance with new accounting regulations, including the transition to SORP 2015, charity tax issues, VAT, Gift Aid and other compliance matters.

The service costs £500 (plus VAT) per year and it is a limited offer which is open to the first 100 applications.

Kate Sayer, partner at Sayer Vincent said: “We are delighted to launch this new service as part of our on-going commitment to the charity sector. Our audit clients already receive free seminars and free advice, and now we’ve made this service available to charities below the audit threshold for a small annual fee.

“All charities need specialist advice from a reliable source from time to time and we encourage smaller charities who are interested to get in touch as soon as possible as it’s a limited offer,” adds Ms Sayer.

For the annual subscription, charities will get rapid responses to queries from an expert by phone or email. In addition, as a client of Sayer Vincent they will also receive the following benefits:

  • Free attendance at Sayer Vincent seminars and training courses
  • SORP 2015 accounting templates in Excel with guidance notes and SORP 2015 checklist
  • Discounts on some other training courses run by Charity Finance Group and others
  • 15% discount on The Complete Charity VAT Handbook
  • Monthly newsletter by email, plus other special offers through the year

Sayer Vincent is an award-winning firm of chartered accountants with a clear focus on charities and social enterprises. The company recently topped the league table in the Charity auditor awards 2015 complied by Charity Finance Magazine for charity expertise.
