Studying charity law and governance

A new Certificate in Charity Law and Governance is being launched by the ‘professional body for governance’, ICSA. It aims to help support people working in the charity sector (in England and Wales) whose roles are affected by legal regulation and governance issues.

The Level 4 Certificate in Charity Law and Governance qualification will be offered by ICSA from January 2016. The first assessment will be in June 2016. There’s a discount on the fees for registration before 3rd January.

The six modules require about 300 hours of study in total, covering charity law, structures and legal forms, compliance and regulation, governance, sources of income, stewardship of funds and assets.

See the press release or go direct to the certificate details.
