Making volunteering in Scotland the norm

The Scottish Volunteering Forum, set up in 2009 as the Volunteering Round Table, wants to see it becoming a societal norm to volunteer, where opportunity or expectation is not limited by upbringing and social circumstance.

SVF says that the number of people volunteering in Scotland has been static for more than a decade, involving approximately 1.3 million adults. This needs to change to make Scotland a “happier, healthier and more prosperous” place to live.
