Reviewing NI official support to voluntary sector

The Northern Ireland government’s Voluntary and Community Unit is reviewing how the voluntary and community sector is supported through the Regional Infrastructure Support Programme (RISP).

The VCU wants to “ensure that appropriate and effective arrangements are in place to support the important work of the sector, particularly in terms of transformation, sustainability and stability, over the next 5 to 7 years”. Also that any support structures have been designed in collaboration and partnership with key stakeholders across Northern Ireland.

An article from NICVA (the NI umbrella body) has more details, including the terms of reference (large pdf download) and dates of workshops across Northern Ireland (starting late September).
