Health and justice skills bodies merge

Sector skills bodies Skills for Health and Skills for Justice have announced that they have merged. The new organisation will continue as a registered charity and will also continue to operate the Sector Skills Council licences for the Health and Justice sectors.

As reported by Children & Young People Now, the organisation sees this integration as helping to improve training and develop apprenticeship standards. Recent Skills for Health work in the children’s sector has included the launch of revised national occupational standards for children’s and young people’s health services.
