Helping the sector in Scotland employ young people

Community Jobs Scotland, the scheme that funds third sector employers to give work to young people, has opened for registration of potential providers for 2015/16.

In its fifth year, CJS aims to create 1,000 jobs for young people, with a guaranteed duration of 39 weeks for 16 and 17-year-olds or a minimum of 26 weeks for 18 to 24-year-olds. The first stage of the application process for employers is to complete an online form, by noon, 29th June.

See Third Force News item for more background, or go direct to SCVO’s info on the process.
