Data on life in N Ireland’s new council areas

Detail Data is a project to develop the ability of the Northern Ireland voluntary and community sector to use data effectively to create and enhance social, economic and environmental value. It has published its first report ‘Places apart: comparing life in Northern Ireland’s 11 new councils’.

This examines disparities across a range of areas including education, health, employment, access to services and life expectancy, and the resulting challenges for communities. Key findings and link to the full story are available from NICVA news item.

Detail Data has its official launch on 29th June (9.30am to 12.30pm) at NICVA’s offices in Belfast.

Detail Data is a partnership between NICVA and The Detail, an investigative journalism website and is funded by The Big Lottery Northern Ireland.
