Early bird offer until 8 May 2015 –
16th April 2015 – Agenda Consulting is inviting organisations to take part in People Count 2015 – its annual workforce and HR benchmarking study for the not-for-profit sector.
Every year, more than 70 organisations from across the Third Sector take part in People Count to measure key HR metrics and compare the results with their peers.
Agenda Consulting expects an even higher number of participants this year as more than 50 organisations from across the sector have signed up already to take advantage of an early bird discount and they are being joined by other organisations every day.
People Count measures indicators around recruitment and retention, absence rates, learning and development programmes and employee diversity. The study also identifies trends and shines a light on HR and people management practices across the Sector, helping to shape future HR policies and identify areas for performance improvements.
The sector-wide results of the study will be published in August 2015 in a series of six reports:
- 2.1 Composition of Workforce and Diversity
- 2.2 Recruitment, Selection and Retention
- 2.3 Learning and Development & Performance Management
- 2.4 Absence Management
- 2.5 Employee Relations and Reward Strategy
- 2.6 The HR Function
Roger Parry, Director of Agenda Consulting comments: “This year, we’ve seen many organisations coming on board early to take part in People Count – the interest has been unprecedented.
“People Count is a great management tool as it demonstrates accountability on important aspects of people management. It also provides evidence for reporting to senior managers and trustees, and gathers examples of good practice. We encourage organisations of all sizes to take part to help them identify their strengths and weakness so they can proactively improve their people practices where needed,” adds Mr Parry.
Brett Terry, Director of People and Organisational Development, Alzheimer’s Society said: “People Count is magical because I always want to know what others are doing – I want to learn. One of the real benefits is the case studies in there – it’s about sharing and learning from others. As a sector we have some fantastic good examples and experience and expertise and I don’t think we tap into ourselves enough. People Count unlocks that.”
Agenda Consulting is running free, 30 minute webinars every week throughout April and May to show how People Count works. Visit www.agendaconsulting.co.uk for more dates and times of the seminars and to sign up.
The People Count study is now live and organisations have until 5 June 2015 to take part.
Organisations wishing to participate can book online at www.agendaconsulting.co.uk.
The early bird prices are available until 8 May 2015, with members of partner organisations* benefitting from further discounts. VAT is chargeable on all prices.
The outcomes of the study will be shared at People Count Results Conference on 10 September 2015, which is open to participants and non-participants, free of charge.
Those taking part in People Count 2015 will also be able to join a Product Training session on the same day, to analyse their own reports in more depth and network with others who contributed to the study.
