Interim findings from a recent survey of voluntary organisations in Wales shows the sector predicting a gloomy future with decreasing funding and increasing redundancies.
The 2015 survey was undertaken by Wales Council for Voluntary Action between 3rd January and 10th February. It shows in increase in redundancies over 2014, that the financial situation of 28 per cent of organisations responding has worsened over the past three months, and 44 per cent predicted their financial situation will get worse over the next 12 months.
