Lobbying law review body up and running

The Third Party Campaigning Review, set up by the government to see how well the new lobbying regulations works for charities and other campaigning bodies outside of the parties directly involved in the elections, has started work.

Lord Hodgson leads the review and has two staff seconded from the Cabinet Office. They “will be consulting and engaging throughout the run-up to the 2015 general election and afterwards”. More about the review at https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/third-party-campaigning-review/about. Although there is no direct call for evidence, material can be submitted via the contact details on https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/third-party-campaigning-review.
