Regulator wants more online accounts and submissions

The Scottish charity regulator OSCR has said that it is now aiming for 100% take-up of online services by charities, with over three quarters already signed up to OSCR Online. Submissions will be online only by 31st March 2016.

OSCR is also working on plans to publish on Register entries the annual reports and accounts for all SCIOs, and for charities with an annual income over £25,000. (This is the corrected version – the original email newsletter said “under £25,000!) While there are still some issues to sort, such as the redaction of signatures from documents, the intention is to have this up and running by the end of 2015.

In the meantime, the regulator is inviting input from charities on where their accounts are already published on the web, so that a link can be added to their Register entry. Email
