Charity regulator meets in Carmarthen

The Charity Commission, the charity regulator for England and Wales, is inviting trustees, charities and charity advisers to attend its next public meeting on
26th March, in Carmarthen.

The focus of the event is trustee duties and responsibilities, and will include:

  • A presentation on the Commission’s key priorities and upcoming challenges, with a Q & A from chair William Shawcross.
  • A panel discussion about trustee duties and responsibilities, based on participants’ questions.
  • Commission’s engagement with trustees when things go wrong, with examples from its case work.
  • Group work based on real examples of issues facing trustees, and a chance to share problems and solutions.
