Irish regulator waiting for powers to act on complaints

The new charities regulator for Ireland has already received 24 complaints about the operation of various charities since it was set up last October. However, the Charities Regulatory Authority is not yet resourced to launch inquiries, and does not know when it will be given the power to do so.
