New Philanthropy Capital is inviting input from charities or social enterprises interested in exploring “in the field” practical use of digital processes, scanning the emerging technology space for new tools to deliver services, or those already doing it.
NPC is running a programme of research “to map opportunities for digital transformation at the field level”, across a range of sectors and functional areas like digital advice, youth services, and mental health. They then want to develop new approaches with hybrid teams combining the wealth of tech expertise outside the charity sector with the knowledge of social issues and practical experience inside it. In short, NPC wants to create a movement to transform the sector’s approach to tech.
