Considering charity economic evaluations

A “guide for deciding whether to conduct an economic evaluation” has been produced by New Philanthropy Capital.

NPC hopes that it will help charities navigate the pros and cons of conducting an economic evaluation so they can produce information on their impact that is useful to them, their stakeholders, and society at large. As a short article says (http://www.thinknpc.org/blog/economic-analysis-what-is-it-good-for/) “Many charities end up collecting poor quality data which is difficult to apply usefully”.
