Women’s organisations need more funding

A survey carried out by Rosa (the fund for women and girls), to find out how women’s organisations have fared since the recession, received feedback from more than 70 groups of all sizes and locations around the UK. The results show a struggle to survive with most drawing on their reserves to stay afloat.

See Civil Society Media item http://www.civilsociety.co.uk/finance/news/content/18687/ – the report ‘Stepping Up? Investing in women in post-recession UK’ isn’t on Rosa’s website http://www.rosauk.org/ at time of writing.
