Prospective Labour policies for the sector

The Labour Party’s shadow minister for civil society, Lisa Nandy, has outlined policies that a Labour government would put into action. It would repeal the Lobbying Act, improve working conditions for voluntary sector professionals and encourage young people to volunteer, as reported by The Guardian.

Civil Society News also mentions the introduction of a new “Compact at a local level”, with reinstated regional ministers expected to work closely with the voluntary sector in their region, http://www.civilsociety.co.uk/governance/news/content/18730/.
