VAT on direct mail

HM Revenue and Customs has confirmed that “single sourcing” direct mail contracts are liable for standard rate VAT from the start of this month.

Civil Society Media goes into the issues at http://www.civilsociety.co.uk/finance/news/content/18312/ – it may mean that it would be better to have separate contracts for printing, sorting and delivery.
