Review of Welsh Children’s Commissioner role

The Welsh Government has launched a review of the Children’s Commissioner for Wales, which was the first such role in the UK. http://wales.gov.uk/newsroom/childrenandyoungpeople/2014/140723-childrens-commissioner/?status=open&lang=en

The review will focus on six key areas:

  • The role and functions of the Children’s Commissioner for Wales;
  • Impact of the role;
  • Review of legislation; and
  • Governance and accountability;
  • Value for money; and
  • Accessibility
