Employment law changes: flexible working, right to work

 The right to request flexible working is to be extended to all employees with 26 weeks service, not just parents and carers as at present. This is expected to brought in from 30th June, http://www.sandy-a.co.uk/employment.htm#flexible-allrequest.

 Expected to be applied from 1st October, the right to time off for fathers/partners to attend antenatal appointments with a pregnant woman, and for adopters to attend pre-adoption meetings, http://www.sandy-a.co.uk/employment.htm#antenatal-partners.
