Awards in NE England, Scotland, for volunteers

The Weston Charity Awards have been set up to help small charities in the North East of England working in the areas of youth, welfare and community. As well as media coverage and a little funding, winners will get access to senior business mentoring and other advice and support. Apply by 28th February, http://www.westoncharityawards.org.

This year’s Scottish Charity Awards, run by SCVO, are open for entries to 26th March. Categories include Charity of the Year, Cracking Campaign, Perfect Partnership, Charity Champion, Celebrating Communities, and also a Sporting Chance Award. See http://www.scvo.org.uk/scottish-charity-awards/.
