Evaluations on volunteering into work, ending loneliness

NCVO has released an evaluation of its Volunteering for Stronger Communities programme, which provides targeted support for unemployed people who face significant barriers to employment. The news release says that it has displayed “an impressive capacity” to help unemployed people into paid work. NCVO press release with link to the report (pdf, 950KB).

An impact evaluation of the Campaign to End Loneliness has recently been completed by Charities Evaluation Services. The Campaign aims to create connections in older age in England, by working with and through organisations that work with older people, and by influencing national and local policy.
