Various sector media report that the budget for the Charity Commission (England and Wales) for the next two years has been trimmed again following the Chancellor’s autumn statement. The regulator’s annual budget will be just over twenty million pounds by 2015/16, a cut of almost fifty per cent in real terms since 2007/08.

- The Global Value Exchange, previously WikiVOIS, is an open source database for individuals and organisations who are trying to account for and measure the social or environmental value that their activities create, http://www.theglobalvalueexchange.org.
- Data Unity is an open source web tool which lets you explore and visualise data, and then share discoveries with others.
