Union frontline voices on austerity impact

Trade union Unison, which has a strong voluntary sector presence, has published ‘Community and voluntary services in the age of Austerity: UNISON voices from the frontline’. Based on member input, it “lays bare the impact of austerity on services provided by the community and voluntary sector and on the workers [with] a deep personal commitment to the people they support”, and also makes a number of recommendations.
