Support for volunteering and youth social action

The government has launched a new fund of up to six million pounds to help organisations (in England) increase the number of young people aged 10 to 20 taking part in social action. Applications by midnight 17th November, see official news item.

The Volunteering Support Cluster offers funding to create new or enhanced volunteering projects in Scotland, increasing the diversity of volunteers, especially those from disadvantaged groups, and improving opportunities, skills and personal development through volunteering.
