Relief for Welsh charity shops, for now

The Welsh Assembly Government Business and Enterprise Minister delivered her statement on business rates and charity shops on Tuesday (1st October). As reported by WCVA, there will be no immediate change to business rates relief for charity shops, with the minister supporting the idea of more effective monitoring of new goods in charity shops. However, the subject isn’t closed, with possible full devolution of business rates a possibility.
