Awards for poverty fighters, health and care volunteering, campaigners

The Centre for Social Justice Awards recognise effective poverty fighting groups from across the UK, giving money and media exposure to the recipients. Apply for this year’s Awards by 28th June,

The Health and Social Care Volunteering Fund’s local grant and capacity building scheme has been designed to improve the voluntary sector’s potential in the health, public health and social care landscape by helping them to become more sustainable. It is expected that about 40 organisations will receive a package of capacity building support and project funding. Register by 19th July, to apply by 31st July.

The Sheila McKechnie Recognition Awards are a celebration of people who demonstrate their commitment to and effectiveness in tackling the root causes of injustice and inequality. Nominations close 1pm, 8th July (Note: not to be confused with the SMK Campaigner Awards, which have just closed for entries.)
