Scottish charities and independence

Draft guidance from Scottish charity regulator OSCR on the role of charities in the independence referendum has been criticised as too long and confusing, and “fails to clarify the issue for trustees and actually muddies the water”. Meanwhile, the Institute of Fundraising has published a survey on possible impacts of Scottish independence on fundraising. Respondents found it easier to identify disadvantages than advantages.
