How would you use technology to change the world?

Google is inviting British non-profits to say how they would use innovation to tackle the world’s toughest problems and transform lives, with the chance to getting one of four Global Impact Awards worth half a million pounds.

Applications need to be in by 17th April, with ten finalists being announced in May. The judging panel includes Richard Branson and Tim Berners-Lee, and one of the four will be selected by public vote.
