Should local Welsh sector Compacts be mandated?

The Welsh Government commissioned research to help inform its decision on whether to introduce a statutory requirement for Welsh local authorities to establish compacts with third sector organisations in their areas. The report suggests that the government could put more pressure on local authorities that don’t have local compacts to put them in place, but stops short of recommending statutory force.
