Producing a code of practice on flexible working

Employment relations body Acas has been asked by the government to produce a Code of Practice for the right to request flexible working which will be extended to all employees who have worked for their employer for 26 weeks or more. Acas is seeking views, particularly from “small businesses who often don’t have HR support and may face challenges in managing flexible working requests” – this would seem to apply to many charities too.
