Managing in the new normal

The results of the most recent ‘Managing in a Downturn’ series of surveys run by Charity Finance Group, the Institute of Fundraising and PwC have been published.

More than nine out of 10 charities said that they were experiencing a squeeze on fundraising while more than two-thirds saw increased demand for their services. Charities are making major changes as a result: for 63%, using reserves is on the table and a fifth of charities are considering merger, or had merged in the past year.
