Voluntary action in 2012

Voluntary Action History Society takes its first cut at writing up 2012 under the title ‘Another Grim Year for Voluntary Action’, http://www.vahs.org.uk/2013/01/feature-1/.

The article suggests that it might be time to revisit the CENTRIS report published by the Home Office in 1993 which argued that the sector yoked together two very different kinds of beast – authentic voluntary action and being part of a wider social economy.
