Homeless Link and Broadway have launched a hotline and website for the public to report rough sleepers to local homelessness services across England. StreetLink (http://www.streetlink.org.uk, phone 0300 500 0914) is the expansion of the No Second Night Out initiative which began in London in 2011.

Those organisations directly involved in legal work probably already know about this, but some providing general legal advice might not.
The Legal Services Act 2007 formalising the regulation of the legal profession includes provision to remove an exemption for non-profit bodies. The Legal Standards Board has now stated that such bodies will not become licensed under the Act until at least April 2015.
