Your Value! - the new social impact tool for community groups

Community Matters has developed a new social impact reporting tool in response to the growing emphasis from Government on community groups being able to demonstrate the impact they are having on their local communities through their activities and services.

Launched only in November 2011, the tool has already received incredible support from the sector with the Charity Commission and Department of Communities and Local Government both lending their names to the tool.

Your Value! is an affordable and easy-to-use data management and self-assessment tool that takes you through a series of prompt questions in relation to the four key areas:

• Local relationships
• Economic Impact
• Social Impact
• Environmental Impact

The tool then asks a group to rate the impact they are making through various activities, and carries out a series of calculations which are then represented in report format complete with graphs and explanatory text. This report can be submitted as part of funding bids and can also be circulated to stakeholders to monitor progress.

Your Value! can be purchased as an annual subscription and non-members of Community Matters only need to pay £100 +VAT to get started. Over the course of the year, Your Value! can generate as many reports as you wish.

Community Matters offers groups with an annual turnover of less than £15,000, FREE MEMBERSHIP. This means groups can download resources from www.communitymatters.org.uk for FREE and can also obtain a discount on Your Value! Community Matters members can get a year's subscription to the tool for just £80 + VAT
